I feel very fortunate to begin writing another blog-this time about my adventures in Vietnam!! This summer I will be spending 10 weeks volunteering with a NGO (Non-governmental organization) in Hanoi. For those who aren't too familiar with the geography, here's a map of Vietnam.
As you can see, Hanoi is the capital city. Although it will be a very hot and humid summer, I'm incredibly excited to spend the summer there. :D
This week I'm home on spring break. With the extra time I've decided to start teaching myself Vietnamese via some library resources. I expect to quickly find that Vietnamese is nothing like Norwegian, but hey, how many people can speak English, Norwegian and Vietnamese? I can't wait to try. :D
This is going to be an adventure... :D
